The University of Missouri (MU) Extension Council of St. Louis County is the local link between county residents and the University of Missouri’s four-campus system. Council members assist in planning and carrying out extension’s educational efforts to improve people’s lives. As public officials,  MU Extension council members administer a local budget to support the educational priorities of the communities in the St. Louis Region.

The University of Missouri Extension Council of St. Louis County is seeking people from all walks of life who are interested in education and the progression of our community. Serving on the extension council is a great way to help make our community a better place to live.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and reside within St. Louis County. You can find more information about the mission of the University of Missouri Extension and the offerings of St. Louis County at our office or on the web at:

Interested in becoming a part of our Extension Council?
Here are the steps to take...   

1. Get Nominated!  Download the form here, or call our office at:
314-400-2115 or email us at to have one emailed or snail mailed to you or stop by our office at
132 E. Monroe Ave, Kirkwood MO 63122 to pick one up.

2. Get signatures from 25 of your friends, relatives or neighbors who reside in the County of St. Louis to sign your petition.

3. Return the original to the MU Extension Office at 132 E. Monroe either via mail or in person by 4:00 pm on January 10, 2018. (Note: Must be post-marked by the 5th of January, 2018 and in our hands by the close of business on the 10 of January, 2018.)

Our online voting will be open from January 17th to the 31st, 2018.
