Moderately Difficult
Details: This
trail is one of the most interesting trails we have
hiked to date. This is the longer of the two trails
available to hike at the Hickory Canyon site. This trail
features some breathtaking scenery, offering views of
enormous bluffs, a huge canyon, and some incredible rock
formations and outcroppings along the way. The creek
running through the canyon offers views of several kinds
of fish, turtles and frogs in the clear waters. The
terrain can be very difficult at times, and there are
several wet creek crossing. This trail is highly
recommended for experienced hikers, but is not suitable
for most children due to the high difficulty level.
