The Confluence Chapter was the fifth Master Naturalist chapter in Missouri. The chapter was formed by 24 individuals from St. Charles, St. Louis and St. Louis City Counties after they completed the Missouri Master Naturalist training program. We share a common interest in nature and in volunteering to help protect, preserve and restore Missouri's natural heritage. Our members live in the region West of the Mississippi encompassed by the image to the right. We come from both north and south of the Missouri River.

We operate according to the bylaws and operating handbook of the Missouri Master naturalist Program developed by the Missouri Department of Conservation and University of Missouri Extension. Standing committees include:
