Controlling Moles and Voles
Wednesday, July 9
7:00-8:30 p.m.
Fee: $15
Learn the techniques and materials needed to eliminate moles and voles in your yard and garden. Class covers characteristics and habits of these pests and demonstrations of control methods. Instructor: Chuck Baur, Master Gardener.

Soil Building and Composting
Tuesday, July 15
6:30-8:30 p.m.
Fee: $15
Topics include soil classifications, soil amendments, soil testing, fertilizing, changing soil pH, composting materials and techniques. Instructor: David Barylski, Master Gardener.

Late Summer & Fall Vegetable Gardening
Saturday, August 16
9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Fee: $15
Most cool season vegetables do very well in the fall, make plans now to plant a fall vegetable garden. Learn strategies for starting seeds, growing seedlings, and transplanting in hot weather. Emphasis on vegetables other that tomatoes. Instructor: Paul Hendricks, Master Gardener

Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale plants will be available for purchase.

Native Rain Gardens
Thursday, August 21
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Fee: $15
Create a butterfly haven with native plants. Topics include butterfly life cycle, site selection and plant selection. Time will be allowed for walking the on-site garden and asking questions. Instructor: Carol Grote, Master Gardener.

Classes are taught by Master Gardeners.
