Activity Suggestion for October

Host a spooktacular Halloween party for your children, grandkids, school or church group.
Even grown up can get into the spirit of a Halloween party.

Make your party a get up and go event with activities like ghost sack races, costume parades, pin the hat on the witch and bobbing for apples. Shift the focus from candy to reading/listening to Halloween stories, running a haunted house or Halloween crafts.
Make slime by boiling 2 cups water in a medium saucepan. Add ½ cup cornstarch while stirring. When mixed well, add food coloring until desired color is achieved.

Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Be sure kids play with it only on plastic covered surfaces as it does stain.
