Quarterly Teamwork Award
The Quarterly Teamwork Award recognizes University of Missouri Extension campus and/or regional faculty and staff members who have collaborated on teams of three members or more to develop, implement and evaluate a specific educational response to a specific need. In addition, teams may include members of the community who have made significant contributions to the success of the project or program.
Recipients will receive a congratulatory article summarizing the team’s accomplishment in the Extension Weekly News and an award Certificate signed by the Vice Provost and Director of Cooperative Extension.
Teams of University of Missouri Extension regional and/or campus faculty and staff members who plan, implement and evaluate a specific educational project or program. Members of the immediate administrative staff of the Vice Provost and Director of Cooperative Extension, regional directors, campus extension administrators and members of the committee responsible for judging the award are not eligible.
Each team member should have played a contributing role in completing the program or project.
Nominations are evaluated on:
- Clear identification of the educational need and target audience
- Use of innovation and a problem-solving approach
- Team impact in furthering the mission of Extension
Nomination and selection
Nominations should be submitted using the attached form and are due according to the following schedule:
First Quarter Award: Due by March 1
Second Quarter Award: Due by June 1
Third Quarter Award: Due by Sept. 1
Fourth Quarter Award: Due by Dec. 1
Nominations are reviewed by a subcommittee of the Extension Leadership Development team and then submitted to the Vice Provost, who makes the final selection.
