Computer Applications.
University of Missouri Extension has supplied each
specialist with a desktop computer equipped with software to enhance
the delivery of high quality programs.
It is your responsibility to make the most effective use of
these tools in designing and implementing your programs.
Extension
Technology and Computer Services (ETCS), located on the UMC
Campus, is available to assist you with technology-related
questions. They have
prepared excellent tutorials on EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint, Windows
support and updates, and managing your e-mail through Outlook.

computer software.
As an MU Extension regional specialist, you will receive
updates from ETCS to keep you current with software available, virus concerns,
etc.
ETCS also provides face-to-face training for MU
Extension employees on the various computer software programs that
we use. If you feel you
need training, consult with your Regional Director.
In addition, ETCS and Netg
offer web-based training to support your professional
development. Current topics range from Business Writing: Creating
Effective Proposals, to Facilitation, to Time Management.
Telecommunications Centers.
The regional Telecenter Network (TCRC) is also available to
assist you in providing efficient, up-to-date programs utilizing the

in technology.
