Bring clarity to the brand by prioritizing
programming by region. MU Extension can’t be everything to
everyone and expect to establish brand awareness and clarity.
- Simplify customer access and increase impact of the MU
Extension brand and services by standardizing and consolidating
communication materials.
- Tailor MU Extension services to regional and individual
needs whenever possible to make the service experience more
personal.

Develop MU Extension “evangelists” by
building strong relationships with key internal and external
influencers.
- Use print media advertising to build brand awareness and
create awareness for MU Extension service categories. Utilize
publicity to provide credibility by showcasing new programs,
individuals or groups who have benefited from the program’s
services; and offering advice from leading experts in various
fields ranging from human environmental science to business
development.
- Employ key MU Extension ambassadors by region through
speaking opportunities to bring credibility to MU Extension
brand and regional MU Extension offerings.
Work to develop a strong parent brand for MU Extension that ties
MU Extension to the already strong child brands of MU in the Evening
and MU Direct.
