A collaborative effort with state departments and Missouri communities, the Missouri Film Office recruits and assists clients in the film, television and video production industry within Missouri. A recent film recruited to Missouri by the Film Office was "Killshot", directed by John Madden (Shakespeare In Love) and starring Diane Lane, Mickey Rourke, Thomas Jane, and Johnny Knoxville. The production of this one-week shoot in Missouri generated $2-$3 million in economic impact.
