Pre-Proposal Guidelines
Faculty may develop an optional pre-proposal
if feedback is desired concerning a new idea, project or program
before writing a full proposal. Pre-proposals should be one to
three pages in length. Include a brief description of the
proposed project/program, expected outcomes for learners and an
estimated budget. Indicate the expected length of the
project/program. Relate the pre-proposal outcomes to one or
more of the program priorities identified in the 21st
Century Strategic Direction.
Pre-Proposals may be submitted at any time. A system program
director will provide feedback regarding viability and potential for
funding. Project directors of successful pre-proposals should
fully development program ideas and submit the final proposal for
review by May 1. Pre-proposals should be submitted to the "ODF
Proposals" mailbox (ODFproposals@umsystem.edu)
via your email application and be accompanied by the proposal
cover page form. |
