Outreach Development Fund

The Outreach Development Fund was established in 1996 to support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs to meet high-priority educational needs identified by Missouri citizens. Funding comes from state appropriations to the University of Missouri and from reallocations within University of Missouri Extension.

Programs supported by the fund cut across academic disciplines, campuses and outside agencies for the purpose of developing innovative, collaborative approaches using the latest technology and research.

Funded programs relate to the program priorities and outcomes in the University of Missouri Extension 21st Century Strategic Direction.  The system program development team evaluates proposals, makes recommendations for approval and provides support to funded projects/programs.  The executive vice president approves funding of ODF proposals.
