2012 Southeast Missouri Crop Budgets

The budgets are for the major crops grown in Southeast Missouri - corn, soybeans, wheat, grain sorghum, cotton, rice, popcorn, and southern peas.   They include irrigated, non-irrigated, Roundup Ready, Liberty Link, Conventional, no-till, and double crop. 
The Crop Analysis worksheet calculates the breakeven net income between two crops based on changes in yield and price. This will help a farmer in making planting decisions of planting one crop over another.

The budgets also gives the net returns based on variable and total costs for both the tenant and landowner based on different crop share rental arrangements.
