Commitment of Traders Reports

The Commitment of Traders or COT reports provide a breakdown of each Tuesday's open interest for markets in which 20 or more traders hold positions equal to or above the reporting levels established by the CFTC. The weekly reports for Futures-Only Commitments of Traders and for Futures-and-Options-Combined Commitments of Traders are released every Friday at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The following graphs give the open interest of the long and short positions held by the commodity funds, commercials and the speculators.  The graphs listed as price include the nearby futures price along with the long and short open interest positions and the graphs that are listed as Net give the Net Position between the long and short open interest positions.
