s a beautiful 1,200 acre ranch located in the Ouachitamountains of central Arkansas near Perryville, Arkansas.
The Global Village Experience 2008 Trip is one of the trips offered at the Heifer Ranch International location.WHAT YOU WILL LEARN ON THIS TRIP:

“Get a taste” of how people in less-developed areas of the world live•
Spend a night in the Global Village which is a simulation of living conditions in Latin America, Africa,and Asia.

Gain an understanding of the issues of world hunger • Experience riding a water buffalo•
Experience growth in your self-confidence by participating in the challenge course activities (lowand high ropes).
Come spend a night and experience life in the Global Village. Live in Guatemala, Africa, Appalachia or the Barrio.

TEAM BUILDING ACCOUNTABILITY TRUST
The Challenge Course uses hands-on experience to teach a variety of skills critical to personal and group development. Come and experience the physical, mental and emotional challenge of the high and low ropes courses. The focus is not on athletic skill, but on learning to work together to solve problems.
COTTAGE INDUSTRY:
Learn from “hands on” classes how people in other countries utilize their resources to make a living (weaving, goat cheese, etc)..
