Scott County Women in Agriculture

The "Scott County Women in Agriculture" will meet on Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m., at the USDA Office on Highway 77 in Benton. Final plans will be made for "Farm Day". All women are invited to attend. You do not have to be involved in farming but if you share an interest in gardening, cooking, farming, family activities, helping the community, etc., this is the organization for you! Their goal is to educate others about agriculture and to provide an atmosphere of fun, fellowship, and support. The group is still selling RADA cutlery and their new cookbook, "Favorites From the Farm". These make nice gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, weddings, showers, etc. For more information, please contact Kay Dover at the USDA Center at 573-545-9027.
