of Missouri Extension's 4-H educational program empowers young people to
reach their full potential while working and learning in partnership with caring
adults. As one of the nation's largest youth organizations, 4-H reaches youths,
ages 8 to 18, in rural, urban and suburban settings, helping them become
competent, capable, caring and contributing members of society.

4-H programs are coordinated by University of Missouri Extension, which is a partnership of the University
of Missouri, Lincoln University, the United States
Department of Agriculture and county governments. In addition, partners from the
private sector contribute financial resources to support Missouri 4-H. These include the
National 4-H Council, Missouri 4-H Foundation, county 4-H councils and local 4-H clubs, as
well as businesses, civic organizations and individuals.
