The Beef Cattle Handbook, developed under the auspices of the Beef Cattle Resource Committee of the North Central Land Grant Universities, now is available as a searchable CD for both PC with Windows(95/3.1/NT) and Macintosh.
The CD contains 145 articles and extension bulletins in PDF format.
Daryl Strobehn, Iowa State University, served as overall leader and coordinator of the Beef Cattle Handbook project. Leaders and reviews of the major sections were Larry Corah, Kevin Dhuyvetter, Dale Blasi, and Don Mock, from Kansas State University; Dan Loy, Iowa State University; Brad Morgan, Oklahoma State University; Rich Randle, MU; John Sweeten, Texas A&M University; Pat Reece, University of Nebraska; Jack Whittier, Colorado State University; and Brent Woodward, University of Minnesota.
