MidWest Plan Service
Applying ventilation basics to naturally ventilated buildings is explained. Systems in current use are illustrated.
Helpful suggestions are considered for selecting a system based on building type, site, and orientation, whether it be a "cold" or "modified environment" building. Insulation needs are outlined for buildings having limited environmental control. Information on handling manure gases and livestock heat and moisture is included.
A section troubleshooting on lists equipment to help identify problems and to offer solutions to typical ventilation troubles. It also teaches management techniques for these systems.
