Families and Divorce: A Program for Professionals Working With Families
CD-ROM
The Families and Divorce curriculum was developed by MU Extension to provide training for Missouri teachers and other professionals who work with children.
The curriculum explores the effects of divorce on children and how those working with children can support them through the process of a parental divorce.
The program is primarily intended for preschool and elementary teachers, childcare providers and administrators, school personnel, and others who work with children under the age of 12. It has also been used with other audiences, such as secondary Family and Consumer Science teachers and 4-H staff members.
Missouri residents who are interested in the Families and Divorce program should contact their local extension office to schedule a workshop. The curriculum is available for purchase on CD by extension professionals and other professionals who provide training for teachers, childcare providers and youth workers in other states.
The CD-ROM curriculum includes a facilitator manual, reproducible handouts, PowerPoint presentations, evaluation forms and a marketing brochure template.
