Plant growth regulators (PGRs) help regulate plant metabolism, thereby altering growth or preventing problems such as lodging or preharvest fruit drop. This publication discusses the different classes of PGRs and the effects they have on crop growth at all stages, as well as how they can increase yield and quality.
