ParentLink's Proud Parents
Never-Married Fathers’ Project

ParentLink assists never-married fathers by providing
research-based information,
links to services, and problem-solving support.

ParentLink provides services directly to never-married fathers,
and also to providers who work with fathers.

  • ParentLink’s loan library includes materials - curricula, audiotapes, videotapes, and books - for never-married fathers.  The materials for never-married fathers have been reviewed by a group of “experts” in the field to determine their quality and appropriateness for never-married fathers.

  • The ParentLink toll-free WarmLine number is available for never-married fathers and providers to call to get the information and problem-solving support they want to meet their fathering needs.  The WarmLine number provides information on issues such as child development, responsible fathering, obtaining legal assistance and conflict mediation services, and developing effective strategies for being involved in the child’s life (e.g., parenting from a distance).

  • The ParentLink web site contains a list and reviews of fathering materials available through ParentLink’s loan library; links to web sites that are especially significant for never-married fathers; and e-mail access to ParentLink’s WarmLine and loan library services.

  • ParentLink has modified our "Parenting Questions?" flyer so that it addresses the needs of never-married fathers.  View this flyer.  Order this flier now.

Funding for the Proud Parents project was made possible by a grant from the Missouri Division of Child Support Enforcement.
