North Central Regional Publication
Originally published by Purdue University, this publication has been adapted for regional distribution
Plant growth regulators (PGRs) help regulate plant metabolism, thereby altering growth or preventing problems such as lodging or preharvest fruit drop. This publication discusses the different classes of PGRs and the effects they have on crop growth at all stages, as well as how they can increase yield and quality. The factors that affect their performance and disease resistance are covered also.
