Randy Wiedmeier says “Goodbye to the Tie” (for now)

Randy Wiedmeier, Ozark County Engagement/Regional Livestock Specialist, will be departing the University of Missouri Extension effective Tuesday, April 30th with the intention of returning in the fall of 2020. He and his wife are going on a yearlong Mission, to the state of Washington, where Linda will be utilized in her nursing capabilities and Randy will assist underprivileged rural residents in need.

Since Randy joined Extension, four years ago, he has been a valuable and well respected member of the team here in the Southwest Region. As a Livestock Specialist he has assisted thousands of clients throughout the state of Missouri. His hard work and dedication, including the extended hours and seemingly endless miles traveled are greatly honored. We will miss Randy’s expertise, charm, empathy and strength.

On behalf of the Ozark County Extension Council, we respect Randy’s decision wish them all the best on their expedition and bid him a happy farewell – for now.
