Are you tired of spending a large part of your budget on commercial cleaning products? Would you like to be able to make your own cleaning products for pennies? Even better, you can learn to make them from natural based, less toxic products that you have in your own home. Perhaps, you have someone in your household who has upper respiratory issues such as asthma or allergies. The cleaning products that you use can affect indoor air quality. If any of the aforementioned is a concern for you, I encourage you to join me on April 8th at 6:30 p.m. for a Green Cleaning class to be held at the Northwest Vocational Technical School in Maryville. Participants will receive a Healthy Homes publication from the National Center for Healthy Housing as well as a recipe booklet for making your own green cleaning products. Each participant will also make and take an all-purpose cleaner.
