Youth ages 8 to 18 are enrolled as 4-H members, and youth ages 5 to 7 are enrolled as Clover Kid members. Membership is determined by the child’s age as of Jan. 1 of the current program year. While the 4-H program year runs from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31, families are welcome to enroll at any time.
The Nodaway County 4-H program maintains an enrollment of approximately 180 youth members and 70 adult volunteers. Youth members join one of the seven 4-H Clubs and attend monthly meetings. Within their club, the youth complete 4-H projects, led by trained adult volunteers. Families are welcome to choose a 4-H Club that best fits their needs and interests.
