Youth ages 8 to 18 are enrolled as 4-H members, and youth ages 5 to 7 are enrolled as Clover Kid members. Membership is determined by the child’s age as of January 1 of the current program year. While the 4-H program year runs from October 1 to September 30 families are welcome to enroll at any time.

The Nodaway County 4-H program maintains an enrollment of approximately 225 youth members and 70 adult volunteers. Youth members join one of the eight 4-H Clubs and attend monthly meetings. Within their club, the youth complete 4-H projects, led by trained adult volunteers. Families are welcome to choose a 4-H Club that best fits their needs and interests.

To find out more information about the Nodaway County 4-H program, or to enroll as a youth member or as an adult volunteer, please contact Annette Deering, 4-H Youth Development Specialist, by calling the Nodaway County Extension Center at 660-582-8101, or by emailing DeeringA@missouri.edu.
