MINER, Mo. – Top soybean experts from the University of Missouri and the University of Kentucky headline the Jan. 18 Soybean Crop Management Conference at the Miner Convention Center.
MU Extension specialist Bill Wiebold shares his research on which soybean maturity varieties fared best in research from southeastern Missouri. Entomologist Moneen Jones of the MU Fisher Delta Research Center in Portageville tells of two new invasive soybean pests.
Soybean geneticist Grover Shannon gives an update on soybean varieties. Jim Heiser offers new information on understanding labeling for new weed control technologies. Agricultural business specialist David Reinbott provides a grain marketing outlook.
The Missouri Soybean Council provides lunch for the day. Christine Tew will give updates from the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council and Missouri Soybean Association.
