4-H Shooting Sports

    4-H Shooting Sports

The 4-H Shooting Sports project gives participants ages 8-18 the chance to break clays, punch paper, bust caps, fling arrows and count Xs all while learning key safe handling and shooting techniques. This 4-H youth development educational program helps young people and their leaders develop broader life skills as they develop specific skills within the discipline of shooting. The project appeals to young people and volunteers from urban and rural backgrounds and promotes positive youth-adult interaction and peer leadership.
