    Layered lettuce salad

    • 4 cups lettuce, washed and chopped
    • 1 large cucumber, washed and sliced thin
    • 1 cup onion, sliced thin
    • 1/2 pound peas
    • 2/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
    • 1/3 cup shredded cheese

    In the bottom of a 9- b 13-inch pan, spread out the pieces of lettuce. Cover the lettuce with cucumbers, onions and peas. Spread with yogurt and top with cheese. Cover the pan and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to blend.
