We have 27 Master Gardener volunteers based out of the Morgan / Moniteau County Extension Center who conduct educational programs in horticulture. These individuals are trained by the university and are willing to advise individuals and community groups on projects such as answering gardening questions, hosting booths at fairs and shows, youth or senior gardening projects, beautification projects, conducting educational classes, conducting horticultural research and writing newsletters and news releases.
The
Master Gardener program is a popular and successful program statewide with the
objective of training gardeners who are willing to share their knowledge with
others. Master Gardeners become volunteers of University of Missouri Extension and donate volunteer hours for community projects in horticulture.
Contact our office for more information . If you have a gardening question email your Master Gardeners at mgmorgan@missouri.edu.
