February 28, 2009 9-11am Beef
May 2, 2009 9-11am Swine
May 16, 2009 9-11am Sheep and Goats
July 7-11, 2009
Please note change of Date for fair
Monday, July 6 Enter projects for the fair, from 5-8 pm, there is not set schedule for each club they can enter any time from 5-8 pm Monday evening.
Projects need to be picked up Thursday night between 8-10pm.
This is the Miller County Youth Fair Livestock Show Schedule, if you would like information on other scheduled events please consult the local paper closer to the event date.
Tuesday, July 7
8-9am Rabbit Show Registration
9am Rabbit Show – Fairgrounds
Poultry Show - Following Rabbit Show
3pm Dairy, Sheep and Gaots in place
4-5pm Weigh in market lambs & goats
5pm Dairy show
Goat Show
- Immediately after Dairy Show
Sheep Show
- Immediately after Dairy Show
All market lambs and goats in the sale must remain on the grounds until Friday.
Wednesday, July 8
8am Breeding Swine in place
8-10am Weigh in market hogs at Fairgrounds & paint numbers on swine
10-12am Weigh in market steers at Fairgrounds
1pm Beef and Swine in place
6:30pm Swine Show
Release breeding stock only at conclusion of show or 10pm, whichever is latest.
All market swine participating in sale remain on the grounds until Friday.
Thursday, July 9
10am Practice Judging Contest
6:30pm Beef Show
Release breeding stock only at conclusion of show or 10pm, whichever is latest.
All market steers participating in sale remain on the grounds until Friday.
Friday, July 10
7pm Livestock sale in the sale ring
Saturday, July 18
3pm 4-H Youth Horse Show at the
Eldon Rough Riders Saddle Club Arena

For further rules and information please watch the local paper it will come out in the local paper about the end of June or first of July, usually two to three weeks before the fair, or you can call the office at 573-369-2394.
