The Role of Citizen Scientists: From Data Collection to a Report to Congress.

Does the data collected by MO's Master Naturalists have value? How is our data used? As volunteers can we make a difference at the national level? Come learn about the work of citizen scientists in many different arenas. The specific example of Christmas Bird Count data resulting in a State of the Birds report to Congress will be discussed.
