Download a flyer for the 2011 4-H Missions in Space! (PDF) Sample 4-H Missions in Space Camp schedule (subject to change) (PDF) "Meet the bus" locations (pdf) Extensive and complete information regarding travel details, what to bring, how things will work, "who is who" and "what is what" will be sent to delegates and their families through the course of three different mailings between late June and the time of the trip. Travel details: Travel to Space Camp is by charter bus, with pick up locations yet to be established; but probably in the Kirksville, Columbia, and Wentzville areas. Meals for all delegates are covered as part of the program
fee, during our actual time at Space Camp. Meals in-route, are the
responsibility of the delegate, with the exception of a group meal in
Nashville on Sunday afternoon. Lodging is covered as part of the Space Camp fee. We will be housed in Habitat I (show at right). The chaperone ratio will be at least one adult chaperone (Extension faculty) for each 12 delegates. In addition, trained Space Camp staff will be with our group throughout our time in Huntsville. Additional adults that attend as part of the group are asked to assist in a chaperone capacity during the trip. Because of the structure of the 4-H Missions in Space program, delegates are always within reach of one of the trip chaperones or trained Space Camp staff. We travel as a group from beginning to end.
