Regional 4-H Energizer
The annual Northeast Regional Energizer will be held February 27 at the First Christian Church, 806 E Briggs Drive in Macon from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This event is for both 4-H members ages 11-18 and adults. 4-H members will meet new people and have a good time while participating in workshops related to Tools For Success, Public Speaking, Livestock as well as Arts and Crafts. Youth participants will have the chance to learn about state and national opportunities along with other ways to become involved at the region and state level with 4-H. Adults will learn more through sessions that include: Engaging Club Officers, Project Leader 101, Finding a Balance as a Parent and Ag Science. The cost to attend is only $10 which includes lunch. To register complete the Registration Form and return to the Extension Office by February 19.
4-H Summer Camp 2016
4-H summer camp will be at Mark Twain State Park's Camp Si Colborn on June 7-9. Members that are 14 & over who are interested in being a camp counselor may apply by completing the counselor application form. Counselor training dates are January 30, March 5 at the Randolph County Extension Office and June 6 at camp. Camp counselors must attend all three trainings. The counselor camp fee is $30 for the first 3 accepted counselors. Counselor forms and fees are due by January 15, 2016. Camper fees are $40 for the first 20 that register. The camper registration form will be available after February 1. All forms and payment are due to the Macon County Extension Office at 404 N Missouri, Ste B. All checks are payable to Macon County 4-H Council.
