Food & Nutrition Education Program

Are you tired of...

  • fixing the same foods day after day?

  • running out of money for food before the end of the month?

  • wondering what to feed you toddler?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then FNEP may be for you.

Through our programs we offer information that helps families deal with just these questions.  Whether it's through a nutrition education program delivered through the school classroom with help from the teacher, or through special appearances   at community halls, or with our newsletters, FNEP has the resources to help you make better decisions in managing your food dollars as well as getting the most nutrition out of the food you prepare.

For low income families and individuals such as senior citizens, youth, and adults that qualify, FNEP can be a valued resource.  We provide a variety of program topics, such as managing money, nutrition and your family, mixing exercise and nutrition, kitchen safety, hand washing, finding nutrients in the foods that we eat, involving children in food preparation, healthy snacking, smart supermarket shopping and customized programs to fit the needs of our clients.
