Local Chapter for Lafayette, Ray and Carroll Counties

We are the local chapter of the University of Missouri Extension Master Gardener Program. While we are one of the newest chapters in Missouri our members have hundreds of years of combined experience.

Our members include gardeners from Lafayette, Ray, and Carroll Counties. The 27 members of the River Valley Master Gardeners range from hobby gardeners to professional organic and hydroponic growers.

Our interests are varied yet our goals are the same....to volunteer in our communities as part of the effort of the University of Missouri Extension program to improve the quality of life, and enhance the economy and environment through horticultural education.

We invite you to become a member of the River Valley Master Gardeners.

You are welcome to be a guest at any of our quarterly meetings. You will learn what is happening with the Master Gardener program, listen to expert speakers, and if you decide to become a member get “first dibs” when future training sessions are scheduled.
