Lafayette County LEAD Goal:

To enhance the social and economic well-being of all communities in Lafayette County by developing active, effective leaders.

LEAD Objectives:

To increase the leadership and organizational skills
of participants through the following:

Increase individual communication
and organizational skills

Enhance skills in communication,
conducting meetings and
reaching group decisions

Recognize and understand current
economic, political and social
forces affecting their communities

Learn to plan, develop and implement
effective strategies for
community improvements

Identify resources available for
community improvement

Increase the level of individual
commitment and participation in the
county and communities
