Stay Strong Stay Healthy
The Stay Strong, Stay Healthy (SSSH) program is designed to increase aging adults’ access to a safe, structured, and effective strength training program. This 10 week strength training program will focus on strength, flexibility, and balance for middle-age and older adults to improve health and quality of life. Classes meet once a week and participants will learn safe techniques and form while participating in upper body and lower body strength exercises. Cost is $25.
Cooking Matters at the Store
Cooking Matters at the Store is a guided grocery store tour to help families buy healthy, affordable food. Participants learn how to buy fruits and vegetables on a budget, compare unit prices to find bargains, read and compare food labels, identify whole grains and stick to a budget. After the tour you will receive FREE items. There is no charge for the program but registration is required so please call or email to reserve your spot! Class size is limited.
