Master Photographers

The Lebanon Camera Club, which originated from the University of Missouri's Master Photography program, is based in the Laclede County Extension Center. In 2001, Eric Adams organized and taught Missouri’s first Master Photography course. The course was modeled after the Master Gardener program and encouraged people to volunteer their time in the community.

The Lebanon Camera Club has a display at the VF Factory Stores of America Outlet, coordinates the Laclede County Fair’s photo exhibit, and contributes to the City of Lebanon tourism calendar.

A primary purpose of the club is to help the 4-H photography program each spring and summer by offering courses that allow youth to learn about photography and display photographs at the Laclede County Fair. Some youth advance to the Missouri State Fair and Ozark Empire Fair photography contests.

Club members regularly assist with the Woman in the Outdoors programs and Art at the Farm.

The club corresponds by email and now through Facebook at The club meets monthly for special projects. For more information, call Eric Adams at 417-718-0326.
