Legislative updates were heard from the Honorable Craig Redmon and representatives of Senator Claire McCaskill and Congressman Sam Graves' offices. Door prizes were provided by the Knox County Farm Bureau.

Leon James was recognized by Knox County Program Director Karisha Devlin for 20 years of service to the Extension Council.

Knox County 4-H Youth Program Assistant Crystal Karhoff recognized Helen Hettinger (left) and Heather Hubble (right) for the 2017 Leaders Honor Roll Award. Both women have gone above and beyond to dedicate their time and attention to a successful 4-H program in the past year.

The Leaders Honor Roll program is intended to honor outstanding community members who have gone above and beyond in their commitment and support for University of Missouri Extension programs. These members help promote the goals and mission of University of Missouri Extension. The Leaders Honor Roll recipients are recognized at the county level and their names are included with other recipients on a plaque in Whitman Hall on the University of Missouri campus. One common trait that all of our Leaders Honor Roll recipients have had is there willingness to volunteer and serve in our community.
