Focus on Kids: Divorcing and Separating Parents

A program to help parents learn how to nurture, support and co-parent their children during and after their divorce.

Workshop Dates for Johnson County

For Johnson County registration, call the Johnson County Extension Center at 660-747-3193..

  • Enroll at least one week prior to the session you plan to attend. Less than 3 PAID participants one week prior may result in the class being canceled.
  • Provide your court case number when enrolling.
  • Parents must attend separate sessions from each other
  • Children are not allowed at the session.
  • When enrolling, please indicate any physical disabilities or learning challenges including the inability to read, see or understand English.
  • Fee is $45 payable to the county in which you are attending and must be paid in advance (one week prior) to secure your seat.
  • Cash, money orders, cashier's checks, debit and credit cards are accepted for payments. No personal checks will be accepted.
  • You cannot pay at the door.
  • Please be in the meeting room 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of the class to sign in and receive your materials.
  • Feel free to bring a beverage. There is no vending machine in the Center.
  • The workshop is in the Extension Center with parking onsite..
  • Class may be canceled if the minimum of three paid participants is not reached one week prior to the scheduled class.
