        (Blue Springs, MO-February 10, 2007) University of Missouri Extension is partnering with the Truman Medical Center to offer a workshop “Working with ADD/ADHD Children” from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on April 5, 2007 at the University of Missouri Extension Center (1501 NW Jefferson Street, Blue Springs, Missouri).

        This workshop will provide information on what teachers should know about ADD/ADHD and tips for teaching ADD/ADHD children and working with their parents.  Resources and referrals will also be discussed.

        Participants will receive two clock hours after completing the training; 0.2 Continuing Education Units are available.  The registration fee is $15 per person.  For more information or registration, contact the University of Missouri Extension Center at 816-252-5051.
