(BLUE SPRINGS, MO. – Oct. 10, 2006) University of Missouri Extension will offer the workshop “Parents: Friends or Foes” at 6 pm, Dec. 7, 2006, at the University of Missouri Extension Center, 1501 NW Jefferson, in Blue Springs, Mo.
Designed for childcare providers, the workshop will address issues such as: How do you feel about parents who work? What do parents think about childcare providers? “Participants will examine the mixed feelings between parents and childcare providers and learn strategies for bridging the gap,” says Dr. Nina Chen, University of Missouri Extension human development specialist.
Participants will earn 2 clock hours after completing the workshop; 0.2 Continuing Education Units are available. The registration fee is $15. For more information, contact University of Missouri Extension at 816-252-5051.
