(BLUE SPRINGS, MO. – Aug. 22, 2006) University of Missouri Extension will offer a workshop on “Dealing With Children’s Challenging Behavior” at 6 pm, Oct. 12, 19, and 26, 2006, at the University of Missouri Extension Center, 1501 NW Jefferson St., in Blue Springs, MO.

This workshop will help participants learn healthy child discipline strategies, age appropriate expectations and how to deal with children’s anger in a safe, constructive way. “Attendees will also learn how to develop better relationships with children,” says Dr. Nina Chen, University of Missouri Extension human development specialist.

Participants will earn 6 clock hours after completing the workshop; 0.6 Continuing Education Units are available. The registration fee is $45. For more information, contact University of Missouri Extension at 816-252-5051.
