University of Missouri Extension E-mail: chenn@missouri.edu (Blue Springs, MO-Oct. 30, 2007) University of Missouri Extension will offer a workshop on “Junk Makes Great Learning Material” from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Dec. 13, 2007 at the University of Missouri Extension Center (1501 NW Jefferson Street, Blue Springs, Missouri). This workshop will focus on these topics: Using junk, natural and recyclable materials such as toys, the ins and outs of finding free materials, the importance of a junk box for educational programs and how to get parents to bring learning materials to class. Participants will receive two clock hours after completing the training; 0.2 Continuing Education Units are available. The registration fee is $15 per person.
