Trip Scholarships for 4-H Members and Leaders

The Jackson County 4-H Council and Jackson County 4-H Foundation believe in supporting 4-H members and leaders who choose to be active in the 4-H program beyond Jackson County. Scholarships have been established to support youth and leaders attend state, regional, national and international events and conferences.

The following 4-H events and conferences will be supported with scholarships.

Teen Conference For members 12 and 13 years old	110	X – ½ scholarship available
KC Global Conference For members 15 years and older	310	X – ½ scholarship available
State 4-H Congress For members 14 - 19 years old	150	X – ½ scholarship available
Citizenship Youth Form For members who have completed 8th grade or are at least 14 years old	100	X – partial scholarship from conference available 4-H Council will provide scholarship for ¼
Leader Workshops – Shooting Sports, Horse Leader	50-150		X – Full Scholarships available to cover registration and lodging.
Regional/National
National 4-H Congress For members chosen to attend based on completion and competition of the Missouri Recognition form	350		X - Foundation contribute ½
Citizenship Washington Focus For members 15-19 years old	1750		X - Foundation contribute ½
International
4-H Global Education For members ages vary depending on the trip.	3000		X - Foundation contribute 1/3 per trip

Scholarship requests may be submitted after the deadline, but funding may not be available.
