Title: Communication and Connection

Description:  The ability to successfully communicate is important for effective and positive work relationships. But if connection is missing, then communication can often be one-sided, mis-construed or miss the mark all together. This session will explore how to be all right with differing opinions, and the idea of I’m right/You’re wrong. Using information from Crucial Conversations, Lifescripts, and Profit from the Positive, participants will learn about the story behind the communication, and how to improve connection and workplace relationships.

Outcomes:

  • Increased knowledge and improved performance towards the following competencies:
    • Communication
    • Interpersonal Relations and Teamwork
    • Professionalism
  • Improved performance in employee relations, supervisory skills, and office management

Evaluation Method: Post-training on-line survey will be sent to training participants.
