Title: The Respectful Workplace

Course ID: ExtHR 260

Description:
 In the workplace, communication can break down and conflicts can erupt. This session will discuss the different types and reasons for those conflicts. It will also discuss the various resources available to you in dealing with certain non-respectful employee issues.

Outcomes:
- Be aware of reasons why there is conflict in the workplace.
- Be aware of different types and dynamics of conflict.
- Learn ways and resources available to help deal with conflict

Evaluation method: Survey attendees for impact on work environment two to four weeks after the training.

Expectation for participants: Participants will participate in activities and discussions in the session.

Target audience: All MU Extension Employees

Instructional length: 1.5 hours

Date(s): Presented upon request to groups of 10 or more

Delivery mode: Face to face, PowerPoint presentation, work sheets
