University
of Missouri Extension's 4-H educational program empowers young people to
reach their full potential while working and learning in partnership with caring
adults. As one of the nation's largest youth organizations, 4-H reaches youths,
ages 8 to 18, in rural, urban and suburban settings, helping them become
competent, capable, caring and contributing members of society.
4-H Clubs in Howell County:

Young people between 8 and 18 are eligible for full 4-H
membership. Kids between 5 and 7 years old may join the special
"4-H Clover Kids" program. The dues, including insurance, for 4-H
clubs are $9 per
year for all except the horse clubs which are $10. Various projects may have materials
fees and costs, but we try to keep those as low as possible.
