Advancing the mission of MU Extension
The next 100 years

In Howard County and across the state, MU Extension improves lives, communities and economies by producing relevant, reliable and responsive educational strategies that enhance access to the resources and research of the University of Missouri.

For 100 years, MU Extension has served the people of Missouri. And now more than ever, we are called on to help people deal with profound and rapid change.

The Howard County Extension Council has two high priority areas for gift funds; 1. Growing the 4-H Youth program in Howard County. The council feels that a Youth Program Assistant is essential to reach this goal. $5000 needed annually 2. Replace and upgrade office equipment. Up to date, working equipment is essential to communicate and serve the citizens of Howard County. $3000 needed for one-time purchases. If you would like to designate your gift be used for the 4-H youth program, there is an opportunity to note that during the web giving process. Please note “equipment” if you prefer to invest in the second option. If you do not designate a fund, the Howard County Extension Council will use your gift where there is the greatest need.
