Description: The Competitive Edge is a six module series designed for athletes, coaches and parents to learn how to properly, effectively and safely fuel athletes before, during and after practice or competition. It will be available both online and in person.
Curriculum/program overview: A properly fueled athlete is better able to perform at a higher level, recover faster and stay injury-free. Performance Nutrition: The Competitive Edge is a six-module series focusing on nutrition guidelines that will help you properly, effectively and safely fuel up before, during and after practice or competition. Topics include hydration, pre-practice or competition meals, post-practice or competition nutrition, supplements, female athlete triad, and the truth about protein.
